About Schoolhouse Cheese and Bread
I'm so pleased to have the opportunity to provide delicious cheese, fresh curd and the best tasting bread to a community whose tradition it was (since 1956!) to pick up their cheese at "the cheese stand" located at the corner of Ridge Rd. and Brick Schoolhouse Rd. I sell cheese from Golden Age Cheese Company located in Woodhull NY.
Since 1983 Golden Age Cheese has been serving 100% naturally mild to aged cheddars and are 100% rBST free milk, and they never manufacture their cheeses with animal rennet, they use strictly vegetable or microbial rennet.
Fresh baked bread (including the most popular "Salty Bread"!) and pies daily! Also offering a variety of croissants and other fresh baked pastries. Pepperoni bread is also available (come early as it sells out quick!) Fresh fudge is also on the menu with several delicious flavors.
Gluten free options are also available, May - September

A variety of Sourdough bread freshly baked by Wild Sage bakers!
Chris' famous breakfast "sammies" are served up on Saturdays (9-12) and Sundays (10-12) You really don't want miss 'em!
Locally Sourced Cheese and Bread
4, 7, 11, & 20 year aged Cheddars, Swiss Cheese, Horseradish, Pepper jack, Smoked Gouda. Freshly baked breads such as: Baguettes, Italian, salty bread, pepperoni bread, and a variety of baked croissants and pastries! And for those of you with that "sweet tooth", a wide assortment of freshly made FUDGE! I change it up from time to time, so be sure to visit often!
